Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of GamHub Jobs, including the CV builder, cover letter generator, job search, and employer job posting features. By using GamHub Jobs you agree to these terms.
Section 01
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using GamHub Jobs ("the Platform", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform.
These terms apply to all users of GamHub Jobs, including job seekers who build CVs and cover letters, and employers who post job listings.
Section 02
Description of Service
GamHub Jobs provides the following services:
- CV Builder: A guided tool to create a professional CV in multiple themes, exportable as a PDF.
- Cover Letter Generator: An AI-assisted tool to write tailored cover letters based on your CV and target job.
- Job Search: Browse and search verified job listings across every industry in The Gambia.
- Employer Portal: A dedicated area for businesses to post job listings, reviewed and approved by GamHub Jobs before going live.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with or without notice.
Section 03
Free to Use
GamHub Jobs is 100% free. Every feature is available to all users at no cost, with no hidden fees or paid tiers.
This includes:
- Building a complete CV using the Design Wizard and CV Builder
- Building a cover letter using the Cover Letter Generator
- Previewing your CV in all four themes (Classic, Minimal, Bold, Elegant)
- Browsing and searching job listings
- Downloading your CV, cover letter, or both as a PDF
- Posting a job listing as an employer
- Posting your profile on the Talent Board
Some features are unlocked by sharing GamHub Jobs with your contacts on WhatsApp, as described where that feature appears. No payment is ever required.
Section 04
Employer Job Posting Rules
- Accuracy: All job information must be accurate and not misleading.
- Real vacancies only: You may only post listings for genuine, current vacancies.
- Legal compliance: Job listings must comply with Gambian employment law, including the Labour Act 2007 and Equal Opportunities Act.
- Contact details: You must provide a valid contact email that is actively monitored.
- Review period: All listings are reviewed by GamHub Jobs before going live, typically within 24 hours.
Section 05
Content Standards
All content submitted must not contain false or misleading information, be defamatory or harassing, violate Gambian law, infringe intellectual property rights, contain malware or phishing links, or request payment from applicants as a condition of applying.
Section 06
User Accounts
- Accounts are created via email magic link (passwordless login).
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- Creating multiple accounts to circumvent free listing limits or the WhatsApp-share unlock is a violation of these terms.
Section 07
Intellectual Property
You retain full ownership of all CV content, cover letters, and other personal data you create on GamHub Jobs. The GamHub Jobs design, code, and branding are our intellectual property. You may not copy or redistribute any part of the platform without our written permission.
Section 08
No Employment Guarantee
GamHub Jobs does not guarantee employment. We are a tools and discovery platform, not a recruitment agency.
Section 09
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Gambian law, GamHub Jobs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform. The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
Section 10
Termination
You may stop using GamHub Jobs at any time. To delete your account and all associated server-side data, email gamhubjobs@gmail.com.
Section 11
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of The Gambia. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of The Gambia.
